Blogging on the road. I haven’t figured out how to add pictures from here bc I have a pw issue. I’ll do it on the “Puter”.

Jon is driving. We have 8.5 hours to get to Kansas City, MO. It will take 7.5 hours. What did we do before iPhones? I don’t even have an iPhone and I am smitten w Jon’s.
This tight traveling schedule means every two hours we get to stop for 15 minutes. Absolutely no lolly-gagging.

Notes on a Late Night Drive

I am in the van driving up north w Shon driving. We had a nice show at the Downtown Bar in Pueblo. Listening to an early demo of ”He Liked Cloudy Weather”. Its about a painting by America from Los Angeles. The profile of a man. “I can do a sketch of it” Shon says.

We are planning a small tour in January kicking off w a residency at the Crystal Hotel in Portland. I want to go back to the Sunset Tavern in Ballard. It would be great to play with Curtains For You. Hope they are available. I’m going to stop writing now bc Shon just saw a groundhog and I missed it.

Home Sweet Home, Away From Home, Broomfeild, CO

After a grueling 711 mile drive from Bozeman, MT (where we played at The Filling Station with Jason Lytle and Ed Vierda), we arrived safely at Chris Lacata’s house in Broomfeild, CO. This is our fourth time staying with Chris and his lovely family this year! The Denver area has been good to us.

The night before Bozeman, we played in Billings at Manny’s. The Biling’s Gazette wrote some nice stuff about us!

We stayed w Craig from Green Room Booking last night and played with another band he books, Maudlin and Craig’s band The Beatifics.
